Former New Jersey Governor Chris Christie has dropped out of the 2024 presidential race. Christie made the announcement at a town hall event in New Hampshire.
That leaves former President Trump, Florida Governor Ron Desantis, former South Carolina Governor Nikki Haley, and entrepreneur Vivek Ramaswamy as the only remaining Republican candidates.
Ahead of his announcement, Christie was caught on a hot mic saying that opponent Nikki Haley is going to “get smoked” in New Hampshire, and that she’s “not up to this”.
