One U.S. Marine is dead and 14 others are recovering from injuries following a rollover crash at San Diego’s Camp Pendleton.
The accident, which involved an amphibious combat vehicle, happened at about 6 p.m. Tuesday during a training exercise, according to the Marine Corps. Although all 14 of the injured Marines were admitted to a local hospital, military officials have not revealed the extent of their injuries.
The name of the Marine who died in the rollover is being withheld pending notification of family, a spokesman says.
