Burbank Congressman and Senate hopeful, Adam Schiff is coming under scrutiny for where he lives. For more than a decade the Democrat has claimed his primary residence is a more than 34-hundred square-foot home in Maryland.

But at the same time, he’s been taking a homeowner’s tax exemption on a much smaller 650-square-foot condo in Burbank, also claiming that home as his primary residence.

By not claiming the exemption on the larger home, Schiff saves seven thousand dollars on his tax bill.

According to CNN, social media posts, public comments, and mortgage refinance records all indicate Schiff makes his full-time home in Maryland.

His campaign office says, however, that his condo in Burbank is his full-time home and his children live in Maryland so Schiff can spend more time with them while he’s in nearby Washington DC.
