The public is being invited to pay their respects to the late U.S. Senator Dianne Feinstein this week. Feinstein’s body will lie in state at San Francisco City Hall on Wednesday.

The public can pay their respects at City Hall from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. PT Wednesday, the late Democratic senator’s office said.

The longtime California senator and San Francisco’s first female mayor died last week at the age of 90 following a series of illnesses.

Her funeral will take place Thursday at the San Francisco War Memorial and Performing Arts Center. Following the service, the longtime senator will be buried at a private, family-only ceremony.
