Young Americans for Freedom sued Clovis Community College after officials there removed fliers that expressed the group’s anti-communist sentiments.
The school cited its flyer policy which prohibits inappropriate or offensive language.
A district court ruled in October that the campus policy had a chilling effect on free speech. The school appealed to the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals and a Federal Judge sided with the lower court’s opinion.
