The Santa Clara Police Department has issued a traffic advisory covering the area around Levi’s Stadium for the Taylor Swift shows on Friday and Saturday.

Police will be stationed at five intersections to increase public safety in neighborhoods. Areas around Levi’s Stadium will also be closed such as Tasman Drive from Convention Center Circle to Centennial / Marie P. DeBartolo Way. Also, the offramp slipway from eastbound Tasman Drive to Stars and Stripes Drive. Heavy traffic and delays are expected to start as early as 1 pm on Friday and Saturday.

Nearly 60 thousand fans will be attending each night, but they will not be allowed to stand outside Levi’s Stadium during the shows. Stadium officials say hanging out in the parking lots around the stadium and nearby streets is a public safety risk. Listening outside the venue has become a trend for fans who could not snag a Taylor Swift concert ticket. Swift is performing at the stadium on Friday and Saturday.
