The three-week long VTA transit strike in San Jose appears to be over for the time being. A Santa Clara County Superior Court judge on Wednesday ruled with the VTA and issued an injunction to end the strike and bring back bus and light rail services.
Some 15-hundred workers had been on strike for 16 days while demanding a new contract from the VTA. The transit agency says bus service will resume, and light rail service should return shortly thereafter once the rail lines are checked.
