Residents can anticipate winds of 20 to 30 mph, with gusts reaching up to 40 mph. Those in higher elevations may face lower humidity levels. While fuel moisture levels have recovered from the early October heat wave, they are expected to dry out as the week progresses.

Additionally, PG&E may implement Public Safety Power Shutoffs in parts of the Bay Area in response to the heightened fire risk. A beach hazards statement is also in effect until 8 p.m. Wednesday for various coastal areas, including San Francisco and Monterey Bay, as large waves may unexpectedly sweep ashore, posing a risk of pulling individuals into the sea.
