Multiple Iranians are being indicted over former President Trump’s 2024 campaign hack. Attorney General Merrick Garland says three hackers working for the Iranian government are being charged. They are currently living in Iran.
Garland says the stolen material was offered to President Biden’s campaign, but it appears no one in Biden’s team pursued the information. Garland said Iran is a state sponsor or terror that is becoming increasingly aggressive in its attempts to sow discord and influence U.S. elections.
