California Governor Gavin Newsom is signing ten bills that he claims address the rise in crime at stores across the state.

During a news conference and signing ceremony Friday at a Home Depot in San Jose, the Governor said the bills strengthen existing laws and provide new tools to stop organized retail theft. He said online stores that allow stolen goods to be sold will be held accountable.

Newsom was joined by Attorney General Rob Bonta, who said Californians can breathe a sigh of relief and warned criminals that California is coming for them.
