Los Angeles County Supervisor Janice Hahn rode the train to work and caught heat from Angelenos who say the photo of her ride was staged. Hahn, who was recently named Chair of Metro Los Angeles, announced on X that she will be taking the train more often.
A photo shows Hahn reading a newspaper, surrounded by empty seats, with her purse on her lap. Commenters assumed Hahn’s security detail got on the train with her.
Others suggested she should ride the Blue Line in Long Beach near closing or any time of day on the B Line through Hollywood. One woman said, try riding alone at night.
