A man was released from San Quentin state prison then robbed a bank in Anaheim the very next day. That’s according to federal prosecutors who have filed charges against 53-year-old Eric Gray. Prosecutors say Gray robbed a bank on May 8th, taking three employees hostage while claiming to have a gun.

After his arrest, police found cash and drugs hidden inside his body. Gray is also accused of trying to escape after being taken to a hospital and fighting officers, leaving several of them injured. Gray is facing up to 20 years in federal prison, if convicted as charged.
