A big shakeup is unfolding in the San Francisco attack on former House speaker Nancy Pelosi’s husband.  The man who beat the 82-year-old with a hammer in 2022 is no longer charged with attempted murder.

A judge threw that out yesterday in the middle of the state trial after David DePape’s lawyers argued it was double jeopardy.  DePape was convicted in the federal case last month and still faces charges that weren’t in that trial.
