CA Disneyland Character Actors, Performers Officially Unionize

Another union is forming at Disneyland.  This one includes about 17-hundred workers who bring popular characters like Mickey Mouse and Snow White to life. 

The actors and parade performers had been non-union employees since the Southern California theme park opened in 1955. 

They’re demanding more money and better schedules.  The association now representing the group will soon meet with officials to negotiate a new contract.
