San Francisco’s oldest toy store is struggling to stay open.  The family-owned Jeffery’s Toys in Union Square has been making children happy since 1938.

There used to be seven locations and the one on Kearny Street is all that remains.  And now those days could be numbered.  The owner says they don’t want to give up, but if business doesn’t pick up they may have to close the doors for good after Christmas.
