Henry Kissinger Dead at 100

Henry Kissinger, one of the most influential and controversial political figures in modern history, has died at the age of 100.

His consulting firm, Kissinger Associates Inc., confirmed his death and said he died in his home in Connecticut.

Kissinger served as President Richard Nixon’s National Security Advisor beginning in 1969. He was appointed as Secretary of State in 1973.

Following Nixon’s resignation, he remained Secretary of State under President Gerald Ford.
