San Francisco Ban on Mission District Street Vendors Pushed Back

By

/

Street vendors in San Francisco are getting more time before a 90-day ban begins. It was set to start last week but got pushed to the middle of the month.

Vendors will be moved to sanctioned lots to continue their sales.  Officials hope the moratorium will make a difference after a string of violent crime in the Mission District.

It comes as the Department of Health cracks down on unpermitted food stands across the city.
