Alaska Airlines says one of its flights operated by a subsidiary was diverted Sunday after what it called a “credible security threat.”

The airline said a flight from Everett, Washington to San Francisco operated by Horizon Air diverted to Portland due to an incident involving an authorized occupant in the flight deck jump seat.

The Seattle Times reports the pilot of the flight can be heard on air traffic control audio posted on LiveATC saying, “We’ve got the guy that tried to shut the engines down out of the cockpit.”

The outlet reported the suspect, an off-duty Alaska Airlines pilot, was arrested after the flight landed safely in Portland. Alaska Airlines said law enforcement is investigating the incident.
