Most California taxpayers have another month before they face the deadline for filing their 2022 taxes.
The regular April deadline was extended because of the severe winter storms, but now the IRS has postponed the deadline to November 16th.
The first extension gave Californians more time to claim deductions for disaster-related losses.
Most taxpayers in all but three of California’s counties – Lassen, Modoc and Shasta – automatically qualify for the extension.
