Alameda County District Attorney Pamela Price addressed questions from the community during a town hall meeting at Cornerstone Missionary Baptist Church in the Laurel District.

Before taking questions from a crowd Price gave a presentation defending her office’s accomplishments. Price also called for a “holistic” approach to address public safety.

According to ABC 7, “One woman asked about the issue of enhancements. Price responded by saying that enhancements don’t deter crime and are racially biased.”

Price only took questions from the public for about 30 minutes at Cornerstone Missionary Baptist Church in the Laurel District.

According to KRON 4, “Price declined to take questions from reporters who attended the meeting.”

DA Price is also facing a recall campaign. Supporters have 14 months to gather signatures from about 93,000 Alameda County voters to put it on ballot.
