Former President Donald Trump was placed under arrest and booked at the Fulton County
jail Thursday night. A mugshot of Trump was taken; the first ever of a former President.
Trump was booked for his alleged efforts to overturn the state’s 2020 election, where he
was released on a $200,000 bond. This was the fourth criminal case brought against the ex-president this year.
The former President says he has every right to challenge elections when he spoke
briefly Thursday, calling the case “a travesty of justice.” The former president reiterated his claims of “election interference” in regards to 2024.
