California is sending a search and rescue team to Hawaii after the fires on Maui.
California’s Urban Search and Rescue Task Forces will travel to the island to assist in the search for survivors and recovery operations.
This includes firefighters from Oakland, Sacramento and Riverside.
Other members of the Office of Emergency Services that specialize in mass fatality management are also being sent to Hawaii.
