Boom-Chicka-Not-Now: San Francisco Birth Rate Declining

Fewer San Francisco residents are having babies. That’s the word from a new report from the state Department of Finance says that by the year 2025, more people will die of old age in San Francisco than the number of babies born in the city.  

The Children’s Council of San Francisco claims more young families are moving out of the city because of the ever-increasing cost of living. 

Every year that San Francisco’s population shrinks, experts believe that can also translate to a weaker economy.
