More tech layoffs are underway across the Bay Area. LinkedIn is letting 187 people go this week from its San Francisco, Sunnyvale, and Mountain View locations.
They will be cutting 102 jobs at its Sunnyvale facility, 72 in San Francisco, and 13 at its headquarters in Mountain View. The filing with EDD was submitted on June 21 with an effective date of July 24.
700 positions were slashed earlier this year.
This follows other Bay Area tech job cut announcements at Microsoft, Sumo Logic, and Intel Corporation.
