Days after Fox News announced the network had “parted ways” with him, Tucker Carlson has broken his silence with a video on Twitter.
Carlson released the video to his supporters on Wednesday night, encouraging them to “keep fighting” and claiming they would hear from him soon.
During the just over two-minute message, Carlson said he had realized after “stepping outside the noise for a few days” how many “genuinely nice people there are in this country.”
Although Tucker didn’t directly address the firing, he did say that “current orthodoxies won’t last” and accused “both political parties and their donors” of attempting to shut down conversation.
Following news of Tucker Carlson’s firing from Fox News and Don Lemon’s own firing from CNN within the same hour, the two appear to have hired the very same lawyer.
Fox News also made headlines last week when it announced that host Dan Bongino had parted ways with the news network.
