This 9 month old spaniel is bouncy and interested in everything around him. He will make a great addition to any home, including one with kids, cats and other dogs. Pooka is a 3 year old, male, black Border Collie. He is a friendly, easy-going fella who seems to get along with everyone. These dogs are highly intelligent and need lots of mental and physical exercise. Pooka will do best in a family where he is given “jobs” to do like retrieving frisbees, “rescuing” tennis balls and other games that will keep his sharp mind engaged.

Please be aware that in order to adopt an animal from the San Francisco SPCA you must:
- Be at least 18 years of age
- Have valid identification with your current address
- Be able to verify that you can own a pet where you live
- Bring along any resident dogs or children for a supervised introduction to the new dog
- Understand that the San Francisco SPCA reserves the right to deny any adoption
- Be able and willing to spend the time and money necessary to provide the training, medical treatment and proper care for the pet
